Impresssions no queries
In addition to the other pages that I have describing some of the features and reports generated by Google Search Console I have noticed that there are entries in the "Performance" reports that show impressions for pages there is no corresponing query.
It is my understanding that GSC reports what Google sees when Internet users access your website. As it is a Google tool it is a fair assumption that if an Impression was registered it would be from a user that was making a Google search. The Search Result list (SERP) will detect that a URL that is in the list was found as a result of the search. If there is a click, the person making the search has determined that your listing is worth Clicking. The reporting of the query that was used to generate the SERP is most likely similar to that Google Analytics reports, i.e. this information in not made available in the GA reports.
However, if a query is reported you would expect that a URL would also be reported for that query. This is NOT always the case.
An example, from the Parish Council website, is that a search for "Belchamp Walter Village Hall" results in the reporting of an Impressionn for the page on the site that has that content but there is not always a Query showing that search.
I feel that there is an inconsistancy here as I believe that I have seen such queries in the past. In fact I have seen many accesses in this particular instance as I know who was making the search!
