Tempusfugit Audit
This page is based on my main website's design template, fourth_layout_template.html, the menu options may or maynot work and they could have been modified for use with the PC website.
Paths to error pages may be not clear (as a first thought).
The support files should be the same for both my sites. .js (JavaScript) and .css (the Stylesheet)
Script and Style support
This and any other test pages on belchapwalterpc.uk will require the files:
- portfolio.js
- and protfolio.css
These files a technically still under development and should not be modified from the Parish Council source-code page.
The Development and Audit
The monitoring of activity logs remains the same but the audit of the main site will now be primarily done locally. This includes checking the layout of the pages, the mobile menu - headers - and validation links. The check to see if the pages are in the Google index can also be made.
The thrust of the tempusfugit.me.uk website is dual. There are technical pages including SEO and pages on how to create and maintain a website along with history pages or the area around Belchamp Walter.
Activity Logs
Both Google Search Console and the server logs are used to determine what pages have been accessed and those that have generated Impressions
January 2024 - Seeing hits for Harris and the Family Tree of Edward III. This requires more work as I am suspecting that someone local is finding these pages. I have questions regarding the reason why a thumbnail of Sir William found its way from the Smythies Family Records to the gene.com??? website.
Lovejoy is a popular as ever! The arrangement of its filming through Micheal also needs to be documented. The fortunes of Samuel Millbank and the interest in Royal Blood could do with some expansion.
The paintings of Sir William Harris and Lady Harris in the hall could be a reason for the interest in Harris and the Armada. The fact that there is Armada Treasure in the hall is also strange along with the involvement of WIlliam Harris.
Menus
The technical menu items have been removed on this page. The menu structure can be made device specific as I have done on many of the pages on my main site.
Local Testing and re-indexing
Now that I can see how my pages are rendered on a mobile phone without having to use a mobile phone I can continue to test the main site locally.
