Events in a post-COVID world

Both the Church and the Village has a problem here.

Some events are "easier" than others. A quiz night is one of the easier events to plan and execute. So is a film night/club.

Events that are "simple" on the surface include Pub Nights, coffee mornings and Talks. While the organisation and planning of these is minimal it they still need to run by someone. It seems that those prepared to do so are becoming fewer and fewer.

Complex events that include a bar and entertainment are far from "simple". The fact that a 2024 Valentine's Gourmet Meal did not happen as significant here.
