Parish Events

There are a number of events that are regularly hosted by the village.

• Pub Nights
• Quizzes
• Regular Coffee Mornings
• Macmillan Coffe Mornings
• Bel-Fest - The annual Summer Event
• Race Night
• Film Club
• Christmas Party
• Valentine's/Gourmet Meal.
• Craft Fairs
• Regular Talks - on a wide range of subjects presented by a guest speaker or a village resident

Not all of these events are Village Hall events and some are for the benefit of the Church and the Friends of St. Mary's.

The village hall obtained government grants to support its operation during the Covid crisis. Now in 2024, due to the "Cost of Living Crisis" and the need to stimulate the British economy, the Conservative goverment and Jemery Hunt announced an extension to the programs to support village halls
